WHAT DID THE ANCIENT GREEKS DO FOR US?

121314

Last half term we learned about the Ancient Greeks, with a particular focus on how they influenced our lives in the modern world.

In English we read 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe' by CS Lewis, writing our own explanation text informing the reader how to survive in Narnia. We continued by writing for a purpose, using the story of Cinderella as our inspiration.

In Maths, we were busy working on our understanding of perimeter, area and volume; converting between different units of measurement and learning all about the properties of 2D and 3D shapes and angles. We also moved on to ratio and gained a deeper understanding of statistics.
