Our learning this half term

This half term we have enjoyed learning about the different continents and oceans of the world. We found out lots of different facts through our geography lessons. We enjoyed learning through songs because it helps us to remember facts. When we learnt about the oceans, we were interested to develop the topic by thinking about plastic pollution. We couldn’t believe how much pollution is found in every ocean, every year. We decided to create our own posters about caring for our environment. 

In maths, we have been working hard to secure our knowledge of addition and subtraction. We consolidated our knowledge of number bonds and our quick recall is now much improved. We have enjoyed playing ‘ping, pong’ to consolidate our learning. 

We have been enjoying spending time reading our favourite books with our friends. We like to look at non-fiction books and find out new things.
